UnitConvert started as a mobile app and is now also available on the web. It covers everyday units such as length, weight and temperature as well as engineering units like torque, viscosity and flow rate.
Accuracy
Conversion factors come from exact definitions published by NIST (SP 811) and the SI brochure, for example 1 inch = 2.54 cm and 1 pound = 0.45359237 kg. The same data powers the website and the apps, and it is covered by automated tests.
